Happy Tuesday Friends!

I'm amazed it's the end of October. 2 months until the end of the year...

Which I discovered last week is absolutely the perfect time to start a new 90 day challenge or goal setting sprint.

I've been working with a few people on this, including myself. I think it's a good amount of time, not too short, not too long.

In fact I've decided to make it the focus of this weeks newsletter. More below...

Highlights from last week:

* Reached maximum capacity, retracted

* Onboarded second coaching client

* Monetised Mens Mastery with mixed reactions

* Went back to my old BNI Group

* Snuck in a quick West Coast trip, epic scenery!

What Have I learned:

Time & Energy Management / 90 Day Plan

I've been working on my own planning for the last few days. Essentially last week and partially the week before I overcommitted both from a time and energy perspective. Nothing negative but just attempted to squeeze too much in.

Which, I believe is one of the most important factors why a lot of us don't make progress or are stuck on the "busy wheel".

It's even ingrained in society, "You been busy?" It's like a status that's associated with good. I get it, it does make sense especially in certain industries, as in asking a restaurant owner if they've been busy this week or night. Makes total sense, there's a distinct difference between a busy and quiet night.

When it comes to generally asking about business though, I don't think it makes sense and it's really a question I dread. A more interesting question would be: Have you been productive?

I've been experimenting with calendar management, deep work blocks and using airplane mode to my advantage to block off distractions. I feel I'm making some solid progress into cracking the productivity code.

What I've learnt continued, the 90 Day Plan

This isn't an original concept at all but one I've borrowed. It seems like a relevant amount of time to make meaningful action and to apply some focus. I've broken down the first 90 day period between Nov and the end of Jan in quite specific detail.

I've also mapped out the next 4 x 90 day periods after that, to lesser detail but still there and will act as a living document up until the start time of that period.

I encourage you to get in touch if you'd to talk about your own 90 day plan. If you're individual, business owner, I'm keen to go through it and see if I can help you. Reply to this email and we can make a time.
