Momentum Event, Mike Pero, Signal vs Noise, Engaged! Updates since May
July 21, 2025
Hi Friends,
It's been a while since I've sent a "weekly" blog.
The Momentum event and the 100 Daily Video Challenge has absorbed a fair amount of time.
If you haven't already purchased a ticket or two for the Momentum event, I'd be super grateful if you're able to support this event. It's been a lot of work, a moderate amount of risk and the closer we get to the full capacity of 120 people. The more value will exist for everyone.
Having an amazing speaker line up, including Mike Pero is one part of it but providing not one but 3 seperate opportunities to meet others and network at the event will be equally as valuable.
We're on the home straight now and our aim is to sell this out so if you're on the fence, now is the time to act: Buy Tickets Here
Highlights (since the last newsletter in May):
- Got Engaged!
- Went to Thailand
- New Podcast set
- Momentum Event, branding done, Keynote speaker secured, ads running, we've committed to this event and aiming to make it an annual occurrence
- Ran a half marathon in Wellington
- Working on buying a property
- Entered into the quarter of health and fitness
- Preparing for the new season of the podcast coming September 1st.
What Have I learned:
Signal vs Noise
If you've seen the clip from the Diary of a CEO podcast with Kevin O'Leary, you know what I'm talking about.
Essentially it's distilling your day into 3-5 key actions that MUST GET DONE. Not maybe's, not to do lists that never get done.
3-5 of the things that will actually have an impact on your business and or close off some loops.
I've been testing this over the last week or so. It's more difficult than it may seem but i've experienced high levels of value with this simple yet powerful formula for making progress.
How do you chose the 3-5 tasks you may wonder?
You know, if you take 5 minutes of thinking time, you know what you need to do. Clue: They're often the things you don't want to do or have been procrastinating on.
Keen to hear how you get on if you apply this strategy. It's not complicated but it's not easy either.
