My first client, Mastermind Expands, Failure, Podcast x5 and 9 Yards Financial

I find long weekends are always a mix of good and bad, not bad but disruptive / weird. Generally I like them but they do cause a pattern interrupt. This time of the year is epic though! I'm very grateful for longer day light hours, warmer temperatures and more sun. How good! Last week I celebrated a BIG Milestone with my first paying coaching client. More on that below. Enjoy the short week everyone

Happy Tuesday Friends!

Highlights from last week:

* First paying client

* First PT Session

* First Mens Mastermind breakfast group (and it was a winner)

*4000 Podcast downloads

*5 x podcast episodes recorded (probably over did that)

*Failed 75Hard

*Daily screen time limit imposed via 30Flex

What Have I learned:

Failure vs Success

Last week I forgot to take a daily progress photo which is one of the tasks of 75Hard. The way the challenge works is that if you miss one item you've "failed" and need to restart the challenge at day 1.

This is interesting to me as on one hand I do feel like I've failed and it doesn't feel good "Not completing" something but on the other, more dominate hand it feels like I got what I needed out of the 41 days of the challenge I was able to complete. I got my rythem and energy back, i got back into some good habits of scheduling, reading, exercising consistently and keeping the diet, nutrtion and no boozing in line.

I think going forward I'll experiment with using 30Flex to establish and maintain habits vs starting 75Hard again. I wholeheartedly recommend that everyone does 75Hard at least once, I think it's life changing and such a good challenge to build mental toughness.

Now onto a success from last week which was:

Signing my first paying coaching client!!

I feel so much validation around this, I've really loved the process of running all the trial sessions and experimenting with offering coaching as a service. I feel like I've found my calling and it really get's me going, wanting to be the best at it.

I'm obsessed with wanting to provide as much value as possible and to help people who want to level up.

It'll be interesting to see how coaching, the podcast, 30Flex and the Men's Mastermind all integrate in together but I think they're all tools designed to help people grow which I see as a positive not as distraction.

If you'd like to book in a coaching session or talk about being on the podcast, get in touch, I'd love to chat.
