Networking, Consistency, Ceramic Coating, How to Podcast

Wow I'm feeling like a new man after a challenging week last week! I guess it's normal to have stronger weeks than others... A couple more Podcasts recorded, new coaching clients and today is the announcement day with the Mens Mastermind Lunch splitting into 2 x smaller groups of 5-7 members which is exciting. I've been learning about charging the car and also a roadie to the West Coast which was the longest drive so far. Went well but there's a way different mindset required than with a petrol car that's for sure!

Happy Tuesday Friends!

Highlights:

* Property tenanted with a long term tenant, finally!

* Cracked over 3200 Podcast downloads, 1000 in the last 30 days

* Ceramic coating on the Tesla, interesting process + HUGE Shoutout to Alex Parnham, in the coming weeks he'll be offering it as a commercial service so keep an eye out for that

* 75Hard day 36, some TOUGH day's but hopefully back in "God Mode" now

* Upstream NZ Event was a good time, more on Upstream below in the featured business of the week

What Have I learned:

Consistency

Specifically with reference to my podcast but in life in general, being consistent seems to be where the rewards are.

I think the key here is that you've got to find things that are relevant and that you are interested in.

This is where most people go wrong I believe. They want to be consistent and choose something arbitrary that for whatever reason isn't the right thing, they battle through it, hating it, dreading it and don't get anywhere other than annoyed.

If that's choosing the right type of fitness, the right career or the right relationship, i think they're all very similar in that when you find something that you're naturally okay to chip away it, it'll be realistic to be consistent with making it better and working on it.

For example, back to the podcast. I'm 64 episodes into it now, sometimes I'm more motivated to record episodes than others but overall, i enjoy it. I feel that it's something that more times than not I'm going to have a net positive experience with it.

To summarise: This is a call to action to stop doing things that you hate, be curious about what you could be consistent with and mix it up. If the gym isn't working, try group fitness or running, or walking. Once you find your groove it's a lot, lot easier to be consistent and to stack some wins by doing the reps.

This post is inspired by the podcast I did with James Wallace which I'll promote next week in the newsletter but is out now.
