Tesla, New Podcasts, Works Co Working and learning about pressure
October 3, 2023
Happy Tuesday Friends!
Is it just me or are school holidays are a challenge?! If you don't have school age kids this won't mean anything to you.
I'm back at it this week. Looking forward to 2 x podcasts scheduled for tomorrow.
More trial coaching sessions booked with people interested to learn more about change, coaching, how it works and to talk about goals, habits, what they're doing and how we might be able to work together.
Highlights from last week:
* Picked up my Tesla
* Hanmer Springs roadie / learnt about charging the car
* Posted the second two Aaron Green podcasts, the last one in particular is a must listen
* Pending deal on the commercial space listed on my website
What Have I learned:
Embrace the challenge, don't resent it
It's difficult to write about this without using specifics but I'll try. Despite how much I share there's some elements that I'll keep off line.
But if you read between the lines you'll know what I'm referring to.
It's easy to wish things were different and that you didn't have to deal with X thing in your life.
One of my all time favourite quotes is this:
"Don't wish life were easier, wish you were better" - Jim Rohn
Which reminds me of the below diagram, how you see yourself and which lens you view a situation. By default it's often easy to fall "below the line" ultimately though, it won't do any good, it's not productive and it's a weak mindset.
I think this is one of the values of having a third party coach or advisor or counselor or person in your life that you can talk to about situations and get perspective and accountability. Friends and family often skirt around the truth of a matter and even writing this now has caused me to reflect and to reassess my own mindset.
This is the power of documenting, journalling and creating content, it's often as valuable for yourself as it is for others.
